On this blog and in our video studies we will use the Names YAHUAH or YAH, ELOHIM, YAHUSHA and the RUACH HaKodesh.
The translations of Scripture that I most frequently use are the “eth (את) CEPHER”, and the “HalleluYAH Scriptures”. I also frequently use “Bible hub” when I study online. Bible hub is an excellent source to use to drill down into each word using the Strong's Concordance with Hebrew and Greek Lexicon.
“GOD”, and “THE Lord” are just titles that were inserted into English translations. I chose to use what I believe are the most closely translated names. I do not believe that one MUST use the names that I use, however I will encourage everyone to do their own research and know the reasons for the things that they believe.
The KJV, as with most other English translations, uses "LORD" (in all capital letters) to refer to the covenant name.
The Hebrew word is:
"יהוה"
YHWH, which is called the Tetragrammaton. There is much writing and debate on the translation of this name. I have studied many of them and have decided on the translation that I found the most supported evidence for using.
I love Hebrew words because they have so much meaning to them, every letter has a purpose and a meaning.
For Example: YAHUSHA means I AM HE who avenges, defends, delivers, helps, preserves, rescues, saves, brings salvation, your Savior, who brings you to victory. YAHUSHA has a beautiful meaning, within this name we can see that YAH is Salvation. I love this and I hold fast to this translation for my Messiah’s name, who brings me salvation through YAHUAH.
We should all be seeking TRUTH, testing EVERYTHING that we believe according to the scripture. No matter the “name” that you use; in “the end”, the one who “overcomes” will receive a “NEW name.”
Revelation 2:16
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone inscribed with a new name, known only to the one who receives it."
Revelation 3:12
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my ELOHIM, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my ELOHIM, and the name of the city of my ELOHIM, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my ELOHIM: and I will write upon him my new name.”
Revelation 19:12
"He has eyes like blazing fire, and many royal crowns on His head. He has a name written on Him that only He Himself knows."
In my family, our "faith walk" has led us to use, YAHUAH, or YAH and YAHUSHA. We also use; The Messiah, YAHUSHA HaMashiach, El-Elyon na Adonia, El-shaddia, Adonia, Father, Emmanuel, Most High YAH, ELOHIM and more.
On this blog and in our video studies we will use the Hebrew Names.
If you read the scripture references in your Bible where you read “GOD” we will use the Hebrew “ELOHIM”.
When you read “THE Lord” we will use the Hebrew translation “YAHUAH or YAH”. When you read “Jesus” I will use the Hebrew “YAHUSHA”.
When you read “Holy Spirit” I will use the Hebrew “RUACH HaKodesh” and when you read “Messiah the Christ” or “Jesus Christ” I will use the Hebrew “YAHUSHA HaMashiach.”
I will post some links below and in the video description that you can use to begin your research into this topic. Ultimately, It is up to each of us to test the reasons that you believe.
Now that we’ve cleared some things up, let’s get into our video studies.
